Slot punches are recommended for people who are into ID card making. This is a useful tool in making consistent hole at a fast pace without damaging the ID card itself. Manual slot punch is ideal for punching few badges. The most popular is the hand held slot punch. It can accommodate large number of cards but it will not be convenient to the person who will be doing the job. Small and medium side organization can use this tool for their convenience but they can opt for electronic slot punches if there are in hurry to get the job done. The staple style slot punch is another type of manual slot punch. Just like a stapler, you have to secure its place on top of table and press it in order to create the hole desired in the card. For numerous ID cards, electric slot punch is highly recommended. Electric slot punches are easy to use and accurate. It is ideal if multiple badges will be punched at the same time. It comes with a foot switch that makes hole punching easy by just pressing the switch with your foot. Specialized slot punches are equipped to trim the edges so that the card will not have a rough or sharp edge. This is one way of securing the safety of badge user.
