Clearing a Card Jam By Catherine Williams of Safe-Card ID When you encounter any card jam it is advisable not to forcibly eject the card out of the machine. Forcing to eject the card could damage your printer and this action could affect the printing quality of your printer. Eject cards using the computer interface. The following are the instruction on how to eject card. Begin with clicking the start button. Next is to click on the settings and open printers directory. Select the printer model that you are using. Right click the printer model and go to the properties. Select the device settings tab, next is the tools menu and then the properties button. On the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you can find the eject card button. Click the eject card button and the card will eject from the front of the printer.
